Awanigiizhik Bruce is a diverse media artist. They gather and source many of their materials from nature: birchbark, silver berry seeds, porcupine and bird quills, rawhide, and earth pigments. They like to combine these natural materials with modern technology and techniques, while utilizing their knowledge of chemistry, biology, and computers and applications to develop new ideas.
